We love that you aren’t rushing to leave. We try to accommodate late check-out requests when possible; it depends on the number of check-ins we have scheduled for that day. To request a late check-out, call or stop by the front desk in the evening before or the morning of the date of your departure. We’ll do our best. Fees may apply.
We hope you’ll consider The Avery to be the setting for your special events. For more information, contact us.
We offer valet 7 days a week, 6am-11pm. Pull up to the front of the hotel and we’ll take care of the rest.
If self-parking, when arriving at the hotel, you can use the loading zone directly in front of our entrance to unload your bags.
There are several self-park garages near the hotel that cost $3/hour or $15 max/day. The garage at 9th and Bannock is a convenient option. We can provide directions and a map upon check-in. There is also metered parking on the street.
Although we don’t have a fitness center onsite, The Gym on 8th is a .2 mile (about three minutes) walk from the hotel (helping you get in some steps). Ask at the front desk for a complimentary pass to access The Gym on 8th.
Please stop by the front desk; we are happy to print your boarding pass or other small print jobs for you.
We don’t have self-service laundry facilities. We recommend Wishy Washy Laundry nearby.
We’re also happy to help with dry cleaning accommodations upon request, when staffing allows.
Check out the Rooms + Suites page to learn more.
We have various cancellation policies depending on the rate and how you book the reservation.
Our most flexible rate is available through the hotel directly and allows you to change or cancel your reservation up to noon (12:00 p.m.) on the day of arrival.
Most of our rates require a 24-hour cancellation to avoid fees.
If you book through a third-party website, we are unable to reimburse you.
Please refer to each rate’s booking policies upon the reservation check-out screen.
Yes, we offer accessible rooms for our Queen Rooms and Largest Main Street Suites. The Avery is a historic building, and some historical elements, including the elevator, could not be fully modified. Due to the limited space in this elevator, there is no space for a guest in a wheelchair to turn around to operate the elevator panel. If you are unaccompanied, please see the front desk for assistance, and we will be pleased to assist you. We will be the elevator operator for you.

Due to The Avery’s intimate and historical setting, we ask that you leave pets that aren’t dogs behind while staying with us. Reuniting will be so sweet!
The Avery is 100% smoke-free. Smoking of any kind is prohibited while staying at The Avery. We charge a cleaning fee if smoking has occurred in a room.
Call us before your visit (phone number) or stop by the front desk and let us help you map out your visit! You can also check our recommendations or Visit Boise to explore nearby attractions and discover things to do during your stay.
